In September we were headed to Virginia to meet up with Ruth Mitchell-Golladay(Myo-Fascial Release Instructor) to enjoy the beauties of Smith Mountain Lake and prepare for the World Equestrian Games (WEG). We put together the back drop, did a mock set up and then packed up the truck for the 8 hour trek to Lexington, Kentucky and the Kentucky Horse Park.
We got set up and nestled into our rental unit and prepared to be part of an incredible display of equitation and representing the IEBWA to the world!! Well our experience was – to say the least – disappointing we had a great time getting to know other members of the IEBWA and Equinology. We had some great laughs with Katja Auer, Natalie Smith, Narelle Stubbs, Nicole Rombach, Debranne and of course Ruth.
The IEBWA was well received by Body Workers, the Public and by the several Veterinarians we spoke with along the way which was encouraging. We feel that even if we did not get the numbers we expected at least we made a lasting impression with those that we met.
